So this psychadelic cake is courtesy of my friend Jen. She shared this recipe with me as we were driving through Europe together. I've been so anxious to make it and thought it would be especially fun for a little home birthday cake for Justin. His actual birthday is tomorrow (big 5!). Stay tuned for Chuck E. Cheese pics!

Siena's Second Birthday

We drove up to Redlands to a indoor jumpy gym for Siena's second birthday on Saturday. What fun! The kids had a lot of fun in all the bounce houses and enjoyed the pizza & cake in the party room afterwards.

Last Summer Camp of the season

The kids have had the opportunity to enjoy many fun summer camps this year. They had their last summer camp last week. Justin was at SeaWorld and Alexa was at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center learning sailing. She actually was sailing her own boat with just another 7 year old (the teachers were in boats next to them). On the last day she sailed solo!

Cheer Camp

Alexa's cheer team had a cheer camp last week. My little bitty got to be the top of the pyramid!

Homegrown Corn

When we arrived home from Oregon we harvested the corn the kids have been growing in the backyard. Doesn't it look great! A little shorter than typical lengths, but bright golden kernels.

Sunriver, Oregon with the Palenchar Family

We had a great reunion with Doug's cousins up in Sunriver Oregon for a week in July. The kids really enjoyed playing together and we had a lot of fun riding bikes and swimming in the pool. Meet the crew:

I was really looking forward to seeing Crater Lake on our drive home since it was just a short drive off the main highway home. It didn't dissappoint!
